    TECHNIQUES: Original Scanlines

Getting tired of "normal" scanlines making your images look kinda flat and, well, normal?

    1. Make your scanlines
    2. Edit > Transform > Perspective
    3. Drag one corner up/down as far as you can
    4. Change blending mode to colour dodge/burn, and opac to 30% (ish)

edit: Sorry this one was sooooo short and simple, I'm just tired of seeing these simple scanlines around. Try combining it with some random grungy shapes, some highlighting and some funky masking for some cool effects.
