| Nice post by Wolfen. +1 on using levels to clean up a bad scan. When working from dark to light you might want to start with a dark base tone and set your brush mode to SCREEN. Use one screen tone to create all the highlights for each section of the figure or face. That way you are not continually picking new colors to paint with. Should save a lot of time. Good luck with your comics.
