    So, my laptop crashed, and I had to start again from scratch. I reinstalled Photoshop CS4 from my CD, and it loaded fine. Only now, no matter which tool I choose from the toolbar (blur, zoom, clone, etc,) it will only show the Hand (move tool?) And that doesnt even work. WTH. Does anyone have...

    Having trouble motion-blurring background.

    Thank you for the tips. I dont know what 'smart objects' are, but Ill find out. I have had good luck using the radial blur on the wheels, although I cant figure out how to make the 'radial' eliptical.

    I dont know how to delete the car from the background layer. Do I need to trace it out again with the quick select tool? Thank you.

    Im trying to motion-blur the background on an automotive photo I shot and didnt slow the shutterspeed down enough. So, using the quick selection tool, I selected the car, zooming it in to make sure I got every pixel, then Cntrl-C, then Cntrl-V to save as a layer. Then, I reselected the...
