Multiple iframe Targeting

I've found several scripts which I'm apparently too dense to configure by myself. I've asked this question in coding forums and received no replies.

I have a text link in iframe1. I want it to change the content of iframe2 and iframe3. I'm fine with basic iframe linking ... targeting, etc. I just don't know how to target multiple iframes. If anyone is familiar with this, could you explain in simplistic terms how I should code the link?
