Hi pepgirlz, just yesterday, I ws wondering where you went. I looked back to an old challenge and saw your entry and thought that I hadn't seen you recently.

Like magic, here you are!

Welcome back.

Now for a thought on your images. I really like both of them. In the first, I think the girl on the boat, boat, umbrella, etc. is too bright . . . or the background is too dark. It seems to contradict the overall atmostphere.

Clare thanks! I was trying to portray a storm coming and it breaking up at the same time. I do see what you mean about the background now. Thanks

Bang, and your back just like a magicians smoke cloud.
Nice work to return with.

You've done a very good job on both composites. I look foreward to see more of your work here. Generally I agree what Clare said, though you could leave the boat and the girl as it is and just add a light ray form the brightest clouds to the girl in the boat. I guess that would look nice too.

I can't critique having no experience but I can tell you your first piece evokes so much emotion in me. It feels so secluded and mysterious yet fragile and sweet with the girl. Beautiful.
