    What's the best method to sharpen the outlines for this?

    Mark, I'm gonna have to say your crazy on that one... Look at all of the subtle things in there? they are really small... If you don't care about them, then go ahead with the pen tool, but if your looking to save them, you could try using the pen tool, stroking the path, then just leaving that...

    How do I create a curved arrow in photoshop...

    looks hand drawn, or at MOST, an attempt at using the pen tool... just do that, then it looks like they just blurred the end... i'm sure you can come up with something MUCH better than that... that one doesn't look very professional....

    That looks like a REALLY bad job of a photo retouch... but anyway, i think you could just try playing around with the brightness/contrast... taht might help...

    Text help desperately needed please!!

    Yes, it's correct that you can only type along a path in the latest photoshop version, Photoshop CS. Now, unless you have the extra $150 to upgrade, i think you'll have to go with another idea ;)

    its a long shot, but if you have the new Photoshop CS, it actually has a command that allows you to type along a path... if not, when you go to use the text warp (as Mark stated before) instead of leaving it on arc, switch it to flag, then play around with the distortions... you should be able...

    Rasterizing Layer Effects?

    create a blank layer above the one you want to rasterize, then, on the blank layer, go to layer > merge down. That gets rid of the effects.

    how do you do that ADOBE GAMMA thing? do you just right click on the desktop and go to properties? if so, where do you go from there? I tried looking around, but I can't find anything to do with it...

    Wow, ok, that helps a lot, thanks! I think I got somethin like it now... one thing, though... everytime I make an oval selection, and stroke it, I've got flat edges (like in the example below) ... why? EDIT: Well, I worked with what I had, and came up with this... not the best quality...
