    Erik, thanks for the help. When I right clicked on a photo and then hit "open with", and then hit "photoshop", it opened photoshop, without giving me the option to "always use this program to open this kind of file". I had to go back to the photo, righ click and then click on "properties". I...

    Photoshop as my default image editing program?

    Hi, I'm relatively new to Photoshop. I have Photoshop 7 running on Windows XP. On to my question.... I have a couple image editing programs and whenever I'm sent an image by email, another programs opens it by default. Can I set Photoshop 7 as my default program for opening these images?
