    i think there is....idk if you will be able to see but i got this result by cntrlshift clicking in the channels pannel it looks like it got most of it with the transparency intact.

    i tried making it first which was a fail beacuse everything was uneven. also, windows gadgets are not as easy to code as rainmeter, and wouldnt look the same

    YES EXACTLY LIKE THAT.....except with transparency where your wallpaper is. how did you do that?

    that was the first thing i tried, it gets a horrible result and even with antialising its still super pixelated and doesnt get everything or gets way too much even with refine edge

    ah so close, i made a layer for selective color adjustment and got rid of all the blacks perfectly but now its just on a white background argh.....im gonna try some more stuff. as of now this is where im at.

    the effect im trying to get is the same as when you set the layer to screen over top of a colored layer. except when i do it with a transparent one it doesnt work
