    Remove shadows in face

You use a lot of smileys... also, the result image does work, and its a good method. But to retain some of the original image's light qualities for the rest of the image, you should layer the new image above the original and set the blend mode to Lighten. It'll reintroduce some light features...

    Dead Like Me

What better way to cure personal boredom than to turn myself into a zombie? Original: Retouched: For this one, I basically found various tree branch textures for that rough look. And color burn is heavily noticeable in this image as well. My only issue with it is the eye, which...

    Einstein in Technicolor

Well, I made a conscious decision to make it brighter so you could see a white light source reflect off his skin and hair better (specifically the nose), as it added optimal realism compared to just leaving it a beige tint.

    Einstein in Technicolor

So I was looking up ideas for photo-manipulation, when it hit me that I could simply treat photoshop like an advanced coloring book for vintage black and white photos. And I feel addicting to this now, even though I've only done one thus far: Einstein Now, it's not the basic coloring...

How do I get this effect?

Yes, it appears to have a blend mode of either Hard Light or Hard Mix with lowered transparency/fill.

How to remove object without destroying picture?

Typically, if you have CS5, content-aware delete will make the image object you want gone, disappear without much damage. But make sure you feather the selection around it and be prepared to clone stamp anything that looks a bit.. off.

can someone help me do this look

Well Melinda, a quality camera and properly set lighting always helps with quality photos. I mean, if you use a webcam or something, you can't expect photoshop to spruce it up into a picture worthy of printing and framing.

    Yelloo

Just thought I'd leave a newbie post! While I am new to this forum, I'm not new to photoshop. Currently I'm 21, but I started using photoshop about 11 years ago with Adobe Photoshop 6.0.. I'm amazed at how much I've learned, but I'm even more amazed by how much there is still to be learned...
