Wow. Thanks for all of the tips. I really should learn how to use Illustrator, but every time I try I just get frustrated because it is vastly different from Photoshop in functionality. I am trying to do a logo that has rounded text like the text is on the edge of a coin. I'm using PS 7.0 and it has "text art", but the arched text doesn't have the same look (see example below).
