Layer Masks in CS5
I'm not sure this is the answer to the same problem, but it sure sounds like it... I was trying to mask something out by making a quick selection and adding a layer mask. then when I was refining it with painting out with my paintbrush (in black) it seemed to be masking stuff out in the "on...- cyrelle
