    Legacy format????

    hello people! i want to know how can i save a ph file with a lower version... i have photoshop 8 and i need to save this file in a photoshop 7 or lower version and i dont know how to do it... somebody told me about saving it as a "legacy format" now...what the hell is that? never heard of it...
