    Request - removing text from a photo

    I'm trying to remove all the added text (dates, Lakers logo in the top left corner) from this picture so it's just Kobe doing the layup as a photo. Is it possible to do this and keep it the same size (photo is larger, just click on it)? Thanks in advance if possible.

    ^^ Thanks! That's exactly what I'm talking about! Now would it be possible to make everything black and white except for the shoe? And also make it bigger so I can use it as a background?

    Hmm I'm actually not trying to change the color of the turquoise shoe, I'm trying to replace it altogether with the red one, if that makes any sense? And I don't have any kind of photo-editing software, only MS Paint and Picture It 2002, which really limits my options.
