trying to put a car in a colorful scene

I meant a picture of a real cardboard box. The very best book you could read is perspective for the comic book artist by David Chelsea. The man is a master of perspective and teaches you EVERYTHING you need to know about it in a fun to read comic book form. It even includes perspective cheat...

trying to put a car in a colorful scene

I wasn't trying to be mean in my post, I was very serious about the cardboard box. With the box you only have to deal with the basics of color correction and lighting plus making sure the resolution matches. Trying to explain how to do the car properly involves the above plus complicated...

trying to put a car in a colorful scene

Like others have mentioned, you have to crawl before you can sprint. My suggestion would be to take a cardboard box photo and try to composite that correctly into your BG. If you can get get the shadows, color temperature and resolution to look convincing, then and only then should you move up...

Please do not look if easily offended.

:rocker: Everybody sing! "What the world, needs now, is de-vil babies. It's the only thing, that there's just. Too little of. :rocker:

Just seen this and it's quite amazing

It's hard to say if it's a fraud. I agree with Tom that it looks similiar to an auto paint, but not exactly the same. The way the details are put into the pic are pretty convincing. Also the "painting" is not identical. There are a few discrepancies such as freckle and highlight shapes as well...

    Greated This

Very nicely done! The color correction is superb and the piece looks very natural. The one nitpick that stuck out to me is the castles in the foreground are slightly crisper than the mountains they are sitting on. An ever so slight blur would make them perfect. :)

    Help with wedding photos background..

The biggest obstacles when compositing photos is 1. Lighting, Lighting, Light and lighting. You have to make sure the the direction of the light source matches and the type of light(natural or artificial. 2. Resolution. If the resolution on the photos you are trying to match isn't the same, the...

    Are You Inked?

I have an arm band from back in the 90's. I also have dragon medallion looking thing on my calf that I got for free from my summer of working/apprenticing at a tattoo shop. There was a time when I wanted to be covered in ink, but age and apathy caught up with me before I could do it...

    The Owl Hells Angle.

Just curious what degree a hells angle is. 666 degrees maybe? :)

    one for my daughter

I think you missed a great opportunity for some great humor. The Reaper is already pointing, you should put the dog in the scene with him. The idea of the big, bad, scary, grim reaper having a foofi white dog with a pink dress on, like an attack dog, is too funny to pass up. :)

    Clean up a photo

My suggestion would be on the right side, you can do a mix of clone stamping and healing brush to get rid of the nastiness. The left side, there's just no extra information on what ever that toy is that can be recovered. I would suggest cloning over that area as well to blend it in with the...

Who needs Photoshop anyway, this guy doesn't.

I feel the same way about those slimming things people wrap around their bodies. You lure someone in on false pretense and when you finally get to the naked, physical, point in the relationship and you have to take it off, it's like bread dough being left to rise too long and exploding out of...
