Not Understanding Exporting an Image to the Web

That makes sense. As soon as I saw the work 'legacy' a red flag went up and it made me think that there was a new process that I simply could not find. Thanks for all of your help, John! George Brown

Not Understanding Exporting an Image to the Web

Hi John, Excellent video...thanks (saving this one). That is pretty much how I have been doing the web image posts but this video has made me rethink my question. So let me phrase it this way...once I complete the slicing process and add the hypertext links to the slices I then go to Export...

Not Understanding Exporting an Image to the Web

Hi John, Sort of. I am good with the Slice tool and imbedding links. The next step is where the disconnect occurs...in the past I simply go to Save for Web and Ps generates all of the individual slices that make up the image and I am good to go. But now Save for Web is Legacy and it appears...

Not Understanding Exporting an Image to the Web

I am very confused about creating an image for the web that has imbedded hyperlinks within the image. Years ago (before Photoshop) I used an application that would allow you to ‘map’ an image. Within that map you could create various hyperlinks. When I got into Photoshop I learned the Slice...

    Brush Problem

I am at an absolute loss as to how to organize my brushes. Some brushes are .abr files and some are .tpl files. When I select the Brush Tool, then go to the default Options Panel and select the Brush Tip dropdown I see a list of what appears to be .tpl files. I can select one of these...

    Old Car

This is my second composite. My original goal was to do something that would expand my knowledge of Ps but then this took on a life of its own. The car and gas pump are iPhone shots that I got last summer when my wife and I were in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I added the Route 66 sign to...

Lightroom > Library > Folders Issue

I just began using Lr a few weeks ago and all is going well except for one issue...importing images. I have begun importing images into the Lr catalog and I have a separate HD just for textures. When in Lr, on the left side of the screen, under Folders, I only see a list of the top 8 folders...

    Morning Sky

Thanks so much, Mott1990. Yep, my first attempt. I had been thinking about it for several months and finally got around to trying it. My photography has been a hodgepodge of landscape, dogs, and bands. No cohesion or any common thread. I wish I could stick to one thing but that probably...
