    Open raw vs Open jpeg as raw

    Thanks for the explanation. It clarifies a lot. However, it does open the door to one other question about the above. If I open a jpeg in ACR I seem to see the same options and sliders as I do if I open a raw file. Am I to assume I am not getting as much range of control with the former?

    What is the difference between opening a raw file in PS CS5 vs. opening a jpg AS RAW? Does any of this work in LR 3? Thanks, Glenn
