    Can someone tell me how this was done?

    I've done it in illustrator. It's very easy but I forget. You can find an illustrator 3D tutorial on youtube. If i remember correctly it is only like 4 or 5 steps to achieve this look.

    Wacom has a cheaper version you can get for $99. I've used my friends before and they work fine. The only difference is it feels like you're drawing on paper but it's a real good deal.
