    I was wondering if there is a way to simply convert an entire image to pantone colours without having to change channels individually? from googling i havent seen anywhere that it is possible, though i would have thought it would be simply an image adjustment. Please do tell how :D

    well i think the normal map is beyond fixing..it was an issue during baking it so fixing it in 2d methods is very difficult. ill post my other question in a new thread. thanks.

    a completely different question. how to convert an image to pantone colours ? i know how to for individual colours, but thts not much simpler than using indexed colour. surely theres a adjustment to simply convert the image? its probably obvious but i havent seen it yet.. im using cs5 btw.. thanks.

    thanks for the info.. the second method is actually exactly what i already tried, but its more complicated than i thought.. the red doesnt change simply on a gradient over the entire image but across each uv island.. so i would need to somehow make a distorted gradient across different shapes...
