    This is probably what you meant? 1. Cleaned up the background with a soft brush 2. Adjusted the levels 3. Added a lens flare set to Screen for the glow of the lamp 4. Added a hue adjustment layer to the glow to make the light more yellow I could add more, but hopefully that helps.

    That's something my lens had trouble with for some reason. Not really sure why but I tried a lot to get it to focus but it didn't want to. I wonder if it was having trouble because there was no contrast area to focus in on. I was using auto focus because my eyes are horrible and I can't ever...

    Stepped outside today and right outside my front door was a HUGE and beautiful dragonfly. Got my work camera (Nikon D300S) and got some nice pictures! These were my two favorites. My settings were f/6.3 1/25 second ISO 800

    Yeah I prefer the softer brushes myself when it comes to coloring. Really just personal preference but I probably will re-do the coloring later because now comparing it to the colors in Chris' version, they look pretty faded!
