    I want the tan replaced with the exact same grey as the patch. So the grey that Photoshop is adding is far too dark... Hmmm - how to do this? Thanks for your help!

    Thanks! But that grey isnt the same as the grey patch though? Its getting the same shade of grey that is the problem... Thank you for the help!

    Thanks - that did help a bit! But still photoshop isnt playing ball. My original color isnt being recognised correctly. Its coming up much much darker than it should... Here's my jpeg. Im trying to replace the tan with the light grey

    Thanks, when i do that the dropper seems to change both before and after colors to the one i just clicked...

    Hi there, I'm trying to use the Image -> Replace Color tool in photoshop cs5 to replace one color in a jpg with another from the same image. It wont let me. The new color has to be from the palate apparently?? Any idea's? Thanks!
