Question about airbrush - doesn't seem to work

Set the "Flow" option to something other than 100%.

Hey how about this effect ?

So did I answer your question, or not?

    Drop and Inner shadows..

To add to this, there are a few other styles that you can move around as well... Try "Pattern Overlay" and "Gradient Overlay" to name a few.

3D New here and i need some advice...

What Mr. Rabbit means by that is the manuals that come with Cinema 4d are excellent. They are very complete, and give excellent explanations of all the tools, as well as lots of illustrations.

    jpeg problem

What Mr. Rabbit said, but also the fact that if you're viewing the images on screen, technically, you've already downloaded them and opened them.

    Wild West Wanted Poster

Chances are, you aren't going to find a full-blown tutorial on "how to make a wild west-style poster." What you do want to do is look at the characteristics that a old-style poster like that has, and then from there, determine the individual effects that you will need to use, and build the...

Hey how about this effect ?

The gradual blurring, or the coloring? The blurring could be done using the "Lens Blur" feature found in Photoshop CS and CS2 - it would just be a matter of creating a depth channel in your channels palette. For a quick tutorial on it, try this tutorial...

A 1954 forecast what computers would look like in 50 years

Sort of. Photostyler was made by Aldus (the people originally responsible for PageMaker as well) and when Aldus was bought out by Adobe, some features were incorporated into Photoshop and Photostyler was killed off. www.schewephoto.com has a "History of Photoshop" PDF somewhere that goes into...

    photoshop/quarck

Do the blocks only appear when the document is on screen, or is it both on screen and when you print? There could be a couple things going on here. Your EPS file might not have been saved with a preview, in which case Quark might not read it and just show a grey box. If it's still happening...

    Iris

The iris itself looks great! I'd just ditch the lens flare and maybe make the eyeball more towards the white/pink end of things instead of grey like you have it.

    "Refresh" for my work's website.

Unfortunately, yeah, it is supposed to switch styles - that page is hosted off-site, and for political reasons I don't agree with, it wasn't able to be changed to the new look - what you see there is the way the site looked 2 years ago.

    Color Cast

    My thoughts exactly.

    "Refresh" for my work's website.

Thanks Mark, that's exactly what I was going for. There were a lot of spacing, typography, and just general consistency issues that needed cleaning up.

    "Refresh" for my work's website.

Well, today was my last day of work at my current employer. One of the last things they had me do was to give our website a little bit of a "refresh" before I left. Well, I decided to do a couple of other things while I was in there. The goals for this redesign were: [list=1] Make this site...

help.. what else would it be LOL

Do you have access to Illustrator? If so, that tutorial would be better off done in Illy, as that program could more closely follow the tools/methods used in that tutorial. If not, it could definitely be done with Photoshop, of course.
