    sorry if im not being clear, the bottle on the left is photo of the bottle, and the other one has all been drawn in illustrator, do you mean make a layer with the shine areas on the left bottle and put them over the illustrator bottle (in photoshop)?? thanks

    thanks for the reply. Yes I tried those modes too but didnt really get what i wanted. some of the label is transparent like the text i have attached the mocked up beer label and the bottle, so yeh i want to put the graphics onto the bottle and make it look realistic. would that be using layer...

    Hi all Been trying to work this out via google for about an hour and havent got any further so thought id post it here and hope someone out there can help... I have designed a red coloured beer label in illustrator and want to put it on a photo of a beer bottle (brown) that I have taken...
