    The PSD file was 19.6MB. The background image (taken from this video youtube.com/watch?v=3nLgKJX8m2w which was downloaded, then Imported>Videos Frames to Layers) was 16.5MB. The final GIF size was 3.8MB or so (256 colours). The UP house was chosen because it was the only thing I could think of...

    Yes, thanks. I know what you mean. I followed this, and I've got the gifs in. It keeps the one animation window, as I thought, and the layers were all there. So I sorted them into groups, and they were 'over' the gif with the gif in the background (which are going by their frames). Right now...
