    How were these images edited?

oh ok, so nothing very tricky was not in there. I'll check out "Pen pressure for opacity control" later, since I haven't touched it ever. I want to now move on to color correction, since I think the overall color seems a bit... rusty? I can't really express it but I'd like to try something like...

I've never tried adjusting spacing but I should do so. Thank you for your help! Now I wish to see how you would express the skin/pore texture. I downloaded some brushes but since I lack of skills, my work always ends up like dotted brush storks rather than natural human pores.... (tears)

I find the pore expression on the nose in the last one pretty cool and realistic, but I don't get how to make it with brushes; it seems it has more than mere brushing over. maybe...

I especially like the chin part, it looks much more smoother and has more depth. Thank you for your detailed description, now I understand better! about the skin texture brush, if you look into the 1st, 4th, and the last pictures, the skin texture looks much more like natural human pores. I've...

Oh so the realism comes from light and shadow. then what will be our next step? and "blending" is what I didn't expect as another answer :0

Hi! Thank you very much for your help. I just wonder which version of PS you use, because in my Camera Raw, I don't see "texture" slide :0

I've never thought about using a layer mask on an adjustment layer but you gave me the idea! thank you! now I think we can work on the colour correction, since I think it's irregularly yellow-toned slightly
