Thanks dv8. I'll give it a shot. Can't find any pics for how it's supposed to turn out. Know where they are?

Having trouble recreating a complicated(to me) orb.

Hey guys, I'm having trouble with an orb I need to recreate for a logo. The guy gave me a low-res jpeg and I need it high-res. Can someone give me some advice on how to approach this. Or if it can be done with styles, that would be great. I tried for a while and got close, but not close...

    PLease Guys Help Me

I could be wrong, but it look like it may be a paintover. Basically on a separate layer, one would set the opacity lower and paint over the photo. If this is the technique, there's no way I could replicate it. I got some that matched the color, softness and contrast, but there's some kind of...

No one knows how to do this!!

I think it would also be possible to do it through the layer styles. In the blending options at the bottom it has the "blend if" sliders. This may give you more control. Haven't used them much though, so I may be wrong.

How in the world is this done?

Hey guys, I'm fairly adept with photoshop, but I cannot figure this one out... I should be able to, and I know there's probably an easy solution, but I don't know it. How in the world do I recreate the background in the pic below? I know... It is easy, but I've been wracking my brain...
