    I used Topaz Gigapixel AI which increases the size. I thought this would make it sharper. Didn't see much of a difference though. Maybe I am misunderstanding Smart-objects. Before I make any size or crop changes I first convert it to a smart object.

    It seems that I lose quality and the image becomes quite pixilated when cropping the image. The photo was 4000 x 3000 cropped and reduced to 900 x 600. Making it a smart image before cropping did not help.
