    Cannot Save Files

Thank you for helping me out. I'm sorry for the late reply. Here's what I get: And here's what I've done: To process a JPG image that was taken by a Pixel 7 Pro cellphone and by using Photoshop: NOTE: This process has worked for me since March 1, 2025. I'll provide an update when I'm sure...

    Cannot Save Files

MORE INFO: Most of the photos that I scanned on my HP printer can be opened, changed, and saved in PS 7 along with a lot of the photos I took with my Pixel 7 phone. The ones that I cannot save are photos I took with the phone and then transferred to my desktop. Those photos are all around...

Adding a Date to a Photo

Thank you for replying. I gave up using Photoshop to add dates (although I can do it) because of the problem I have with saving the file once I have opened it in Photoshop. I am now using Snagit because I can add a date to my photos and then move it around the photo at will. I have 400-500...

    Cannot Save Files

Here are the results of my trying what you suggested: Full Scratch Disk My scratch disk is D: with 838 GB free space. It was originally set to C: but I changed it in an effort to fix my problem. I also cleared all temporary files (52 MB) that were in it but that didn't help either. Outdated...

Adding a Date to a Photo

I am still having the problem. I moved some of the files that were giving me problems to a Windows Vista computer. No matter which format I choose to save the file, I get the same problem. I also cleared out my temp folders to no avail.

    Cannot Save Files

Sometimes I can open a JPG in Photoshop, work on it, and then save it. Other times when I try to save the file I get an "Could not complete your request because of a program error." If I then open another JPG or TIF or PS file and try to save it, I get the same error. If I close and reopen...

Adding a Date to a Photo

I have quite a lot of photos, some of which are over 100 years old. I scanned them into my Windows 10 computer over the years. None of them have the date as part of the photo so I would like to add a date to them. I've come up with some general steps but have not tried it yet. Would something...

    Saving Layers as New Files

Yeah... yeah... hmmm  I'll copy my file 6 times, then go into each one and delete all but the layer I want to keep. I appreciate the suggestions! Funny how one tends to forget the simplest method.

    Saving Layers as New Files

I have a Photoshop 7 image that contains 7 layers. I also have the Photoshop 7 Help file. I searched in that Help file but could not find anything about saving layers as a file. Could someone please describe how to save each layer as a separate file?

Began Getting Disk Full Errors when Saving New File

I'm using Photoshop 7.0 on a Windows 10 desktop. Over the last few months I've been getting "Disk Full" errors every time I try to save a new PSD file anywhere except on the desktop. How can I overcome that so that I can save a new file anywhere that I want?
