    I want to be able to use the one that I created (the one you put the map in) as a clipping mask and not a layer mask. If you look at the squared one that I put the image in, the image is "behind" the varying opacities of the design. sorry...I'm having a hard time describing it.

    I have painted some watercolor frames, scanned them in, and now I am trying to create a clipping mask from it with no luck. I have successfully made it a layer mask...but that isn't what I am going for. What do I need to make it a clipping mask??? I'm trying to create an edging for photos...
