    Problem with Magnetic lasso

I knew it would be something obvious like that. Thanks so much!

    Problem with Magnetic lasso

Hi there, I'm probably missing something obvious (aren't I always?) but when I select an area of my image using magnetic lasso tool, instead of selecting the area I've drawn around - the selection shrinks and it'll merely select a small section of image. Please see below - hopefully this...

Making it appear as if someone is standing behind a wall

I have a picture of someone I want to appear like they are standing behind a wall with their head popping over the wall. How do I do it? Trying to rearrange layers but then the background of the image of the wall (i.e. the sky) just appears on top of it. I know I'm missing something blatantly...

    Text wrap

Nah, I've tried that and it's not changing. It's baffled me. It will allow me to put the image to the right if I move the text box off the page but as soon as I move it on to the page it shifts the text about like the attached image. ANy more suggestions?

    Text wrap

Hi guys, just an update. I've discovered that depending on what page it's on (left or right) then that will judge which way it will allow the text to wrap. For example, on the left hand side of the page I can only have the image to the right of the text box and on the right page it only alows...

    Text wrap

I know this is an InDesign question but I was hopign you might be able to help! I'm trying to wrap the text around an image in InDesign - it works fine when the image is to the left of the text box, but when I move it to the right it's not having any of it. Any suggestions? Cheers!

Ideas for a funny Christmas Card

Hi all, I've been given the task of producing a witty Christmas card at work - the one I tried first time around wasn't very well received! Anyone got any ideas/templates/tutorials I could follow given that I'm something of a novice (although getting better) on PS. Thanks!

Can anyone explain why this is happening?

Thanks for coming back to me - the thing is I had planned to fill the are abelow with a different colour so I presumed I had to have it on shape layers?

Can anyone explain why this is happening?

When I use a pen tool it automatically colours in the outside of the area I'm drawing. Probably something very obvious - but can't figure it out! Attached a screen grab below. Cheers.

How do I do the next step in this tutorial?

*slaps forehead* Thanks - again. You fancy coming to sit in my office?! I'll pay you in beer and chocolate! :) Thanks again Ivan

How do I do the next step in this tutorial?

Create a Christmas design using Photoshop If you go down to the section where it asks me to draw a path and then edit the layer style. I have drawn my path but how do I get the path onto the layer so that I can do the part in the process where I actually create a physical path going up the...

How would you create a gradient like this?

Ah!! That's what I was doing, I didn't change it from Linear to Radial on the overlay menu. Thank you so much!

How would you create a gradient like this?

Thanks form coming back to me. I tried that and the closest I could get was this. I'm trying to follow the below step-by-step guide to produce an Xmas Card, it asks me to do a gradient overlay which completely ruins what I was doing and puts a linear gradient over my radial one. How to...
