    trying to make buttons

    Well, you can't code the button but, you can design it. All you have to do is save it as a png, and it will adapt to what ever background color it is placed on.

    I just think you are not giving it time to load. Don't forget photoshop is a huge program and needs time to load, so just leave you computer and wait for it to load.

    The way i interpreted this was the layer is locked like this? If so, all you have to do is double click the layer.
