    Thanks Everyone ! I wanted to get rid of alpha channel because I was using an algorithm to write the image in a pdf file which did not support alpha channels.

    shapes without alpha channel

    Hi, How can we create shapes in photoshop , without using alpha channels ?? Either I create it using built in shapes or a rectangular marquee and fill the selection, in both ways the image created has an alpha channel. PS: the shape is a rounded rectangle with radius 2 Thanks, Taz
