    Ok everyone, I found the problem. I wanted to share it with you incase someone else new to photoshop runs into the same problem. It is very simple really and made me feel like an idiot. LOL I was saving the files as save as. Apparently you cannot do that if you want to upload to your hosting...

    Once I save the file as anything other than .psd, it will not reopen at all in photoshop. Only .psd will reopen. What in the world is going on and how can I fix my main problem?
