    Colour Wallpaper

Yeah! I was thinking that when I finished it off. I might use it again if i ever want to create an camera, but it is really quite time consuming!

    Colour Wallpaper

Hi again, it's been a while, I've been gone in order to work for exams for a while, they're nearly over! Felt like making something today and this is what came out, I really like experimenting with typography so this is kind of a project for me with moving forward with it. I saw some similar...

    Sand/scratched texture effect

Thanks, I went on to the main site and was able to find some textures that are working, I'll post the results when I'm done

    Sand/scratched texture effect

They are all 404 or parked domains ^^ <EDIT> On further examining of the tuts there, they seem to be more for general sand, I'm more interested in the scratches you can see. Thanks for the links though :)

    Sand/scratched texture effect

Hey again! I'm in a serious spot of bother, I'm trying to create a new background and i want to create a backdrop for the main image, the backdrop has a sand based theme, ok Im waffling. I googled the internetz and came across this image, which is pretty much spot on for what I'm trying to...

Not exactly, what you can do however is select the area you want to fill using the magic tool then press fill with the colour you want.

Love the new photo Zeealex! However maybe try increasing the aperture a tad to get the entire flower in focus? Unless that was the effect you were going for. Definitely a cool photo though.

Wow, Hoogle, I understand completely about the high end difference, I know someone with a Canon 5d and well yeah, it makes my camera look like childs play, but being 17 and all our price range is slightly lower. Anyways no need to turn Zeealex's photos into a camera discussion.

I know what you mean about the canon and nikon, my friend wants to get his first DSLR and hes going straight for a canon, I asked him if he wants another camera and he said no. canon. What sort of lenses can they attatch? are they pentax only lenses? I'll bear that in mind for the future.

    few outside shots.

From what I've seen of my friend's K-r they do look cool! I never take close ups with my 18-55 just cause you have to get so close! I like to just flip to the telephoto and stand back. Wine is a pain to set up, but an awesome tool. (As long as the program you want has support) Ok. note to...

WOW! That is very very cool! I must try that! Do you know if it works with telephotos?

    A couple shots

Definately agree about the crop. I've never actually cropped one of my images actually, I just never think about it. Second photo is of some plant life, not quite sure what, I'm no expert but I thought it looked cool in the light so I took it! And what is this fancy technique with reversing...

    few outside shots.

I was going to get a K-r! but there was a deal on where I got a nice shiny telephoto for a fraction of its price if I bought a different camera, so I got that. And wow, its amazing that you managed to get that close with just a 18-55! You're a wine user? do you run your adobe suit through it...
