Resizing From 4mb to 2mb

Resizing From 4mb to 2mb
Hi, I'm trying to reduce a photo for a contest. The rules state the maximum size is 2mb, and I'd like to get as close to that as possible, however I don't know how to do that. I know how to resize, but I don't know how to get it close to 2mb. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The...- travln1
