    Makinga JPEG with a background into a transparent PNG

    Transparent Png Hi: Did this using Background Eraser, with Tolerance at 50%, much more accurate using cross hair with BG Eraser than Eraser. FWIW Gus Image 40KB would not upload, will try tomorrow or link it from my website in my profile Link: Test JPG

    How to select background

    Hi Sounds like I found a great place to find out about Photoshop . . . I am using CS4, and many times when reading a tutorial they mention "Select Background" and go on to use, "Use curves to subdue background." Is there an easy way to "Select Background"? TIA Gus
