    If you want to buy mouse just for Photoshop then I suggest you to go for Wacom tablet. Forget about mouse. Wacom tablets are basically built for Photoshop. You can also use "Pen Pressure" when you use Wacom tablets. www.tricky-photoshop.com

    Resize and then the edges are smoothed. Why?

    Activate free transform(ctrl+T) to resize. Though you are resizing a vector, I suggest you to select "nearest neighbor" rather than "bicubic(default)"in the option bar(top one). Photoshop has designed this mathematical algorithm especially for resizing vectors or illustrations.

    Go to filter>adaptive wide angle and change the settings as per your requirement. 2) duplicate your layer by pressing ctrl+J/cmd+J and press ctrl+A/cmd+A to select the whole image. Then go to edit>transform>warp and then warp the image.

    Its not a font type. I thisnk the designer just used Arial font and give the effect via photoshop
