Creating car light trails using "Stroke path with brush"
Thanks agentmoeller and Rich54! agentmoeller's procedure was the best way to achieve a realistic result. I ended copying and pasting a path like 15 times, and using the Pen Tool to move the vertex points to produce perspective-correct light trails.
