custom shape help ?

sorry to bother everyone. im doing a flyer and have been looking all over youtube to find a tutorial on how do do something similar to this:

the blue and purple custom shape? is that just the shape tool ?

you can start with a rectangular shape
and than transform it (skew - distort - perspective)

Your question doesn't really make sense so I'll interpret it as best I can.

You may be able to find a 'shape' that is similar to the one in the image, either from the standard shapes included in PS or by downloading one, but as its a simple shape, or rather a combination of simple shapes, it may be quicker to use the 'Pen Tool' to create the shape(s) from scratch.

If you ignore the 'rotation' it would be really simple to construct, use 'guides' to help you place your anchor points of the path.
Once you have the shape(s), you can either flatten to 1 layer and rotate or select all the shape layers and rotate them together.

Whichever you choose you should make the shape slightly wider and longer than required to allow for the rotation.
