Hello to my forum mates:
Was working with the newest version of Topaz Gigapixel this morning when my Photoshop 2025 workspace starting getting glitchy. I closed out and when I reopened, I only get my toolbar and layers panel. After trying several fixes, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Still having the same problem. This is all I see when I start Photoshop:

Some basic info about my system -
MS Windows 10 Pro
Intel core i7 - 8750
CPU @2.60ghz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 630 with 4 GB vram
My memory is getting low with about 12.6 GB used from available 16 GB
Have been thinking about a new laptop - this may be the signal...
Thanks for all advice and counsel in this....

Appreciate the tip - but I don't think it's Topaz at this point. It's Photoshop that's giving me the problems...

Whoa! Sorry you are having this issue!

What I see on the net is saying it can be caused by plugins. While opening Ps, hold down the Shift key, then select “yes” on the prompt that comes up asking if you want to open without loading third-party plugins. If Ps opens properly, you’ll know that a plugin is likely causing the issue.

Have you tried opening Ps without plugins?

Thanks, Sam, Unfortunately, the same problem even without loading plugins. I'm thinking more and more it's a hardware issue....have to dig a bit more....

After trying everything in my limited toolbox. I brught the laptop into a repair shop this morning. On a first view, he said that Photoshop was open, it just was off to the side somewhere and not appearing on my desktop. After working with it for a few minutes, he managed to get it back into position. So all is well....for now.

My laptop is reaching its end point (4 years old) and I'm beginning a search for a newer version with more capability. Adobe has minimum recommendations for Photoshop and that'll be my starting point.

Thanks again to @IamSam and @kabak for jumping in with suggestions!

- Jeff
