Im missing the "clouds" filter in photoshop cs6

Check that the Clouds filter is resident and in the correct location... Clouds.8BF C:\Program Files\ADOBE\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Required\Plug-Ins\Filters If it IS there then check that the 'Clouds' filter is set to 'visible' in the Menu dialog... EDIT > KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS > MENUS...

    Show extras..

You cannot change the default behaviour for this type of menu item as it is toggled on and off depending on certain events...for instance turning it off and then dragging out a guide line will automatically turn it back on. Anything you do to automatically turn 'Extras' off will more than likely...

Applying perspective automatically to a smart object?

I too would suggest the method by @colleague with a small exception... Just create 1 wall, convert it to a smart object, THEN duplicate the smart object a further twice. This will create instances of the smart object. Unfortunately Adobe, as usual, don't conform to the normal terminology for...

3D Blender back to basics for me :)

Sorry Ged, I now see shadows on the original....they are very faint but there.....just. (And on the second one too...very faint) Darken 'em up a bit and she'll be right. Regards. MrToM. PS...e4

3D Blender back to basics for me :)

Shouldn't be that bad, as long as all the objects are set to cast and receive shadows and you have a light source then the render does all hard work for you.....that's what 3D is all about! Regards. MrToM.

    Smoothing pixelated stuffff

Knowing how you created this would have helped so with no other option I'm going to guess it was hand drawn with a brush of some description. If that is the case then check the properties of the brush, especially the 'Spacing' setting.....for some annoying reason Adobe decided it was a good...

Resolution defaults in Adobe Camera Raw

You can change the PPI at any time, either in ACR or PS, it doesn't matter. If you really feel the need to do it in ACR then do as colleague said, remember to click 'Done' to save the info. In PS use IMAGE > IMAGE SIZE to change the PPI. The 'resolution' of a digital image is just meta data...

    Define Brush Preset Question

No worries. Its basically just a two step process... 1. Define your brush from your image. (This creates the brush so you can use it) 2. Adjust the brush properties and save it as a 'Tool' preset. (Properties like size, flow, opacity, spacing, shape dynamics, scattering, in fact any of the...

    Define Brush Preset Question

I'll do my best for you. From your screenshot you can see that the brush selected is indeed a large, soft, round brush. You need to select your saved, custom brush "PureHoneyL-400" from the list of Tool presets... You will find that once you have selected that brush it will always be that...

    Define Brush Preset Question

To be honest you would want to keep the custom brush as large as possible when you create it. Custom brushes are just images, and like any other image will degrade when scaled. Changing the brush size is technically scaling an image, scaling UP is never a good idea and, although not good...
