Re: Retouching: Reducing / removing acne and rosacea from face in Photoshop (removing Although I did not read all the DIY posts, my first reaction (other than that strange shadow) was that I appreciated that you didn't try to smooth the skin out entirely. It was a good change from the original...

    Captain Nemo's Car.

No critique from me. That is a great car even in it's un-manipulated form! Nice job aa usual chris. As for the woman, she looks a bit coy. Just waiting to be invited for a ride.

    matte painting in progress

I've been looking at this again. I hate to see you make too many adjustments to the first. But, here are a couple thoughts. The woman floating on her back does not have any highlights such as the rocks. If you keep the size of the canvas the same, it seems to me that the large elements could...

    Washed up on the Beach

I personally don't like the warmed up version. It is on a body of cool water. Selfie? :naughty: I used to have a real camera, back in the day. Nice elements. Makes me wonder if the couple are aware of the photo op! Maybe passed into the past . . . the way of all things. I never answered...

    How to improve?

I think how you want to compose the positions is up to you - though I like chiris's edit too -, but I do agree that the people, the woman especially seems to be floating. The lack of shadow on the penguin is OK. The light is coming from the left though, so the guy's shadow should go around...

    Trip home

I'm glad for you that your worst fears have been relieved. Now they want to get a better picture with the dye so they can truly track the changes in blood flow and size of the constriction. I hope you'll keep your eye on the prize: seeing family and friends. Best wishes kiddo!

    Lady on a Wall

They're both really great gedstar, but I agree with Chris about liking the first one better. I do like the colors of the second and maybe if they were a bit muted, it would be better, IMHO. But I like them both. It's really good to see a lot of manipulations again. Really impressive number of...

    matte painting in progress

I like this ink, but be careful not to add too many elements. Even now, I think they are crowding the idea. Maybe if there was just one of the new adds, or they were smaller or closer together on the right side? Just a thought. Very very nice though. I haven't been around to see your work for...

Guess what I was photographing all day yesterday?

That was one gruesome popped eyeball. Which is why I preferred to work in the trauma room, where even though we had some bad s**t, most of the work was already done in the field; thank god for my squeamish stomach. Kudos to those strong folk.

Yeah, one p*ssed off hot lady there! Thought about using the whatchamacallit filter to bend it around the benches, but, next time. Thank you. And thanks everybody for the "likes."
