Challenge: Do You Wanna Spring or are You Warped

Good job Rainy. Does your ID have a little spring metaphor? And everybody else. I don't mean to not reply to all your entries individually, but I just got caught up on my rainy day business. All the submissions are great and there are more than I expected.

    Greyed Layers

Hmm. Not exactly undrestanding what you are saying of Flash as it applies, though I may need an upgrade. I am using Win 8.0 and running PS5. (since it is the last version I like having done a trial 6. Who cares to spend more if you won't use it)

    Greyed Layers

I have, on more than one occasion, experienced layers going from highlighted to greyed out. The only way I have found to return accessibility is to double click the layer to bring up the layer styles palette, which restores the highlighted layer. Even at that, however, I can't use the mask...

Sigh. "I am woman, I am strong." It's a myth.

Challenge: Do You Wanna Spring or are You Warped

Sorry Chris, maybe thats' why there are no other replies! I am working on an image, but after spending 3 hours on it, decided I hate it, it just isn't working, etc. So I have begun again. However let me try to explain briefly. The intention is to create an image which sums up your...

    Our Cat Suki

Thanks everybody. As far as her going anywhere? That is rather unlikely though not impossible. If she were healthier and bigger (she weighs all of 10 pounds) and went cruising the neighborhood like my two others do, then I'd wait patiently. Larry, you and dv8_fx and your animules. The...

    Our Cat Suki

Dave and I went to a work banquet Friday night after a really long & already emotional day, meeting commitments, driving all over the county. Dave drove 250 miles that day, home from work, downtown with me, up to the dinner at a cas-ino in north county, home . .. (Stupid auto mod wouldn't let...

Challenge: Do You Wanna Spring or are You Warped

OK, I made this warped challenge because I just couldn't think. I figure I better get moving whether I have a good idea or not.. So . . . Do you look forward to spring? Did you have nightmares about it when you were a kid? Do you really wish there were no seasons at all? Does it give you the...

How to achieve this soft-ish atmosphere in photos

Dango, it might also be helpful if you post the psd so we can see what steps you have taken, try them out, and see if there are other approaches, maybe using what you already have with a few tweaks.

How to achieve this soft-ish atmosphere in photos

Try this in our special effects sticky. Come back with questions if it doesn't cover what you want and we can help you out some more. https://www.photoshopgurus.com/forum/general-photoshop-board/46361-l-i-n-k-s-popular-special-effects-explained-post1533650288.html#post1533650288

I need some help with this overlay effect!

There's a true painterliness, overly sharpened edges of the books and a cartoonish effect on all. This seems to have been achieved with pulgins outside of PS, like the Topaz you mentioned chris. Still, just keeping the shelf lines over his face was accomplishment enough!

i think one of my best adjustment work so far

Egos, I am impressed. Very nice work and lots of careful attention to detail, reworking, and manipulation. The image looks like a lot of fun to play with. Kind of a fairytale cottage. One I would like to live in when I am old enough (so to speak, ha ) and can sell my current home which is too...

How to transfer the colour palette of one picture into another picture?

Hmm, I am glad you think I could come up with an easy answer since I am a painter. However,I don't know how to interpret the question either? I have some ideas with general guidelines, but again, without knowing exactly what Molly has in mind, I owuldn't know where to begin and could be way...

Restoration Challenge with a Prize for the Winner

Emily, that's beautiful. It really warms her up and opens up the eyes without making them look ghostly. The only thing I would change (and goes for mine which is a sad work in progress) is to warm up the BG and maybe overall in this case as the pinks are warm and to me clash a bit with the...

    Malaproprisms

Well now, you have just tattled on her!I hope she doesn't get up her battle ship personality, turn gray in the face and shoot her tornados at you. <<<---Should I have used this skyroller? I used to have a friend (haven't talked to him in years) who had a store called Skyscraper...

HELP NEEDED: Glow skin / wet look / oil look

I know this is an old thread Alan, but I was absent from the forum doing this time. It has been helpful to read of your techniques and I will definintely give them a try very soon. I have been back into Photoshop again doing my favorite thing, manipulations. (my enthusiasm dropped off when I was...

    Malaproprisms

I assume you mean this example. I'm not sure since snicker doesn't mean ahything differently even if spelled the same like "wind" and "wind." These are called homonyms. Maloproprisms do have diferent categories however. I learned these from a paper...
