    I'm a bit clumsy when I type it would seem. I understood what you did with the curves and then I wondered if you had made the shading using the method you describe in your latest post. It's my favorite too, because it's very flexible.

    I like yours Sam, really nice touch with the lighting. What did you do to the texture of the blanket thing? It feels both crisp and smooth at the same time.

    Bugger, would have been cool if you made the surface and bubbles from scratch. Would have wanted to learn that. :D Thanks for the ideas though, I really like how yours came out gonna play around for a bit and see if I can achive something similar.

    Could you be a bit more specific? Is it the white soft feel yout after, or something else? Because what I think of when I see this is the High Key effect. And if that is what your after it really depens on what kind of photo you have to start with. I'll try to be back in a while with an example.

    I like your answer chris, it's alot more educational than you might think. I started out my ps career just a few years back and have been at it on and of from a photographic view point. So I know how sharpness and blur effects a photo, it just never struck me that the same applies here. Silly...

    Thanks for the link I think it hit my question spot on. Even if I still got the feeling that some of the paths in the examples we recived are to be used for fast selection and say color editing. It also got me started on the pen tool, and that is a much larger feat by far.

    Hi again Steve. Just wanted to say thanks again and tell you that my problem is solved now. I'd already tried your suggestion so I decided to do a full disk sweep to see if I could find the little critter somewhere. As it turned out I found one on my backup disk, (2 backups old I might add)...

    Thanks for the effort Steve but to no avail I'm afraid. I didn't have a .lock file in user>my pictures>lightroom, looked for it under program catalog too... But not to worry, I can still browse my photos and pictures using bridge until I figure this out. I suppose google for an hour or so will...
