Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Here is one more while I am "brain smart". BTW, I figured out why the "flip vertical" boxes were not showing up. I needed to be inside the "CTRL+T" box of the photo, and then right clicking and they showed up. :)

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

I tried another one, while it was all fresh in my brain. They look pretty good, but somehow and somewhere, I got messed up, because my reflection doesn't look as good as the first example. Too blurry or too far removed from the different layers, if that makes sense?

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

I apologize, I still can't figure out which layer you adjusted the opacity to, before we added the gradient. I went back over the last two pages and can't figure out where you are talking about. I think I posted a screen shot "before" I was completely finished with the steps. Here my last...

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Why would I adjust this? Would this be if I didn't know like the blur I choose to begin with? Thanks!

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Okay, I think I have everything done. You said you went back and adjusted the opacity on one of the layers to 30% (I think that was the amount). Which layer did you go back on and adjust that opacity? Finally, in the previous set of steps, you also drew a line across from left to right with...

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

So sorry for all the frustration. Not frustrated at you, frustrated at me for not "getting this". Okay, so I went back to what I would call "Step Four Blur" and then when I clicked "CTRL +T", I got the dialog box that you previously mentioned, but once again, for the life of me, I could not...

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

I am so confused by the photos I am trying to save as .psd files, to go with each step and then to go and save them as screen shots and then save them as .jpg files so I can post them on here..... I went back to your steps where you tell me to CTRL + T and then "right click" on the layer to...

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

I think I posted the wrong screen shot.....I'm somewhat confused by all these different screen shots. BUT, I am following your steps. I went back to Step 5 psd file, and turned on layer 2, and took a screen shot of what it now looks like. I hope I am at the right place.

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Here are my latest screen shots from following your steps. I did have one comment/question on one step. You stated to Select your Move Tool. Use the DOWN directional arrow key on your keyboard to move the “Plane copy 2” layer down. Position just below the “Plane copy 1” image. (Note: You can...

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Here are screen shots of steps 3 and steps 4, waiting on final instructions. I know I sound like a broken record, but I can never thank you enough for being so kind and patient with me and this learning process. You are awesome!

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Here are steps Two and Two A Can't thank you enough for talking all this time and trouble to walk me through this, step-by-step. I am so grateful for your help!

Thank you so much for doing all of this. Here is my first screen shot and I followed all your steps.

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Here is my latest try. Still not completely happy and still feel I am not "grasping" all your steps, or missing something from what all you wrote, even after I watched all the "layers mask" videos. Grrrrr.

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Thank you so much for all the video tutorials on everything, I watched every one of them, but I think either the second or third link on masking would not play. Something about the content being owned by Lynda.com So, with that being said, I do understand masks a whole lot better, and grasp...

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Okay, I took some screen shots on the various layers you posted, so I can finally grasp all that you are telling me today, along with posting more questions about the entire process. Just want to make sure I have all the steps down. Thank you so much for being so generous with your knowledge...

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

I appreciate your kind words, but I'll be honest with you. I don't have a clue as to how I got to where I am with it. I still need to write all your instructions down and ask more questions. I just want "step-by-step" instructions and I am still somewhat confused by all you did, especially...

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Here is the screen shot where I ended up, along with the final results. I know I am missing some steps. Still, I think it looks better than what I was doing previously. Now to just tweak it and print me out some "step-by-step" instructions that I can understand.

Okay..... No problem. I can't thank you enough for all your help with this.

Step by Step Tutorial for gradient and reflection

Here are three screen shots of what I've tried to do. Most of the steps took me a while to understand but I finally figured most of it out. What I still don't understand is how to move the "blurry inverted layer", into position exactly where I want it, under the "normal plane" photo. I don't...
