    Thank you this method does indeed work, but not for my situation. I already created shapes that i want to use and now i just want to be able to load my shapes and position image inside them. some shapes are more complicated like star and cannot reproduce it using free transform > wrap.

    sRGB color space not working

    Try using File > Export > Export As rather than "save for web", also try first Edit > Convert to Profile to sRGB in Photoshop and then "Save As" select jpeg format and see if you get different results.

    Thank you, this definitely works however i was looking for something more straight forward without need to jump trough so many hoops. I find that after HSB conversion can also copy contents of Red channel into layer will provide HUE map without filter, i did not measure if its as reliable though.
