    I took Polarwocs suggestion to mean that for anyone asking for a free request, should be made to vote in the competition before their request can be posted/receive any response, not necessarily submit a piece themselves. I think that would be great if the forum host has the ability to add that...

    I voted the other day but didn't comment. I voted for the train, because for me it was just, the most appealing image. The orange and the ferry were close behind, but I felt the train was the most (uh... un)polished of the three.

    I did most of it with spot healing, but I still don't really understand how it works (like sometimes it'll pick up another part of the image from miles away, like suddenly throwing a nostril on an eyelid, for example), so I clone stamped some small areas to cover up then spot healed again to...

    I've used polarwocs third image here, and just taken some of the shine off of his face. I think maybe he just needs to be made a little bigger in the picture and he'd be perfect, but I have neither tools nor expertise to do it and make it look good (as my previous masking job shows).

    That looks great, but I think the op meant the other way around? The guy in white from the second dark picture, to be added to the opposite side of the first colourful picture... I could be totally wrong. Regardless, it's a great piece of work :)

    Again, criticising the amazing work, I'm sorry :( They look amazing! Of course, no idea if it's what OP had in mind, but I think they're great! Just one tiny thought... Would the light from the plane cause the man to have a slight shadow cast out in front of him?
