Opening IPhone captured .jpg files in PS

Yup. Eggy is probably right. I'd just insist on the fact that HEIC is a much better format than jpeg. Better quality, smaller filesize.... So switching it off completely to have your iPhone shoot directly to jpeg might not be what you are after... (but it could, of course...) Also, note that...

How to put multiple values into an array of a dropdownlist?

I populate a dropdown in one of my custom script. Take a look at the code below. "arrayProjet" is an array similar to your "dropdownlist2_array"... for (var a =0;a<arrayProjet.length;a++) { win.GrpProjet.ddProjet.add('item',arrayProjet[a]); } You need to populate the dropdown in a...

Error Messege Opening JPG file in Photoshop

I've done something similar in the past with the "Preview" app on macOS.

    Lamborghini & lava

Those are pretty cool. I kinda wonder about lighting too... Mostly on the second one... I feel like it would look even better if we didn't feel such a strong light on the top... to have it more integrated with the background... Sunset looks oversaturated for my own taste, but that's just me...

    Hi there.

Simple question, simple answer : Yes. You'll get sooo much more out of your photos if you shoot in RAW.

Sleepy fish in the depth of the ocean - Digital illustration

Nope. I started with a simple sketch, and let it grow from there. I do use Google Images a lot when I paint though, for various references... In this case I remember searching for "angler fish" and for "sleeping hat". :) . I also spent time on sites like ArtStation... looking for underwater...

    Halliwell Witches

Looks pretty cool. Here's a few comments : - I'm not quite sure about the warm colours of the two candles (they're candles, right ?) . It feels a bit out of place, and gets my eye away from what's really cool... - While the "magic burst" looks really cool, I feel like it's effect on the...

Sleepy fish in the depth of the ocean - Digital illustration

Yeah, I get your point.... thought I kinda like it that way... :) . Thanks for the feedback.

Thin dark outline when exporting a png

Feels like the resizing messed up your edges... It's probably related to the resampling method you used when downscaling the image. In the "image size" dialog, try changing the value in the "resample" dropdown menu... You might have to try a few different ones to get one that works great with...

    Brush Glitch?

That looks kinda cool. Mind to show us the colourized photo ? You got me curious. :)

Layer Styles Pen Fill path is very pixelated when filled in.

Actually, this isn't right. A 1920x1080 pixels image has the exact same number of pixels no matter what resolution you set it on. The dpi settings has no impact if you're length and width are expressed in pixels. It does however when you set your length and width with inches... A 2 x 2 inches...

Sleepy fish in the depth of the ocean - Digital illustration

Haha. Glad to hear I'm not alone too. You might have seen it on ArtStation or Instagram.... I did not make any tutorial, though I also made a little octopus in a similar setup, for which I posted a timelapse... Maybe that's what you've seen. Have a nice day !

Do custom brushes always have to be grayscale?

You can actually use the "mixer brush" to sample a color pattern and use it exactly like you intended to. Make sure the wetness is set to 0, the load to 100 and that you do not sample "all layers". Take a look at this : On the left side, you have my "pattern". First stroke has wetness set to...

Sleepy fish in the depth of the ocean - Digital illustration

While I mostly do creative retouching for a living, I've found myself very interested in illustration work lately... I realize this forum focuses more on the photographic side of PS, but I'm curious to hear what you guys have to say about stuff like this... 100% photoshop, of course. What do...

    Specific Clean up of symbol

I feel like you're right. It does make sense... Portofino is also a known blend of coffee... Feels like this has nothing to do with the bookcase makers... they just used planks from a coffee crate or something...

    Polygonal Lasso Tool help

This is weird. This "automatic" change makes no sense at all... The only way I get it to react like this, is by having the Alt key pressed... I once had a similar problem with my wacom (it made the CMD key get stuck on the "pressed" state and everything was acting funky until I rebooted the...

    Electra v1.0 officially released.

Yeah, I understand... it's a shame though... your plugins look quite interesting... I remember looking at "Lumiere" a few months/years ago, thinking "finally, a decent glow" only to find out I couldn't use it. Anyway, I guess you know what you'Re doing eh ? ;) . Thanks for the answer.

    Polygonal Lasso Tool help

Are you saying that the tool is set to "Add to selection" in the options bar, and that it changes automatically ? Or is it set otherwise ? I usually leave that to "New Selection" and use the modifiers key (shift + click to add, alt+click to subtract). Or even better, I avoid the lasso tool...
