I referenced a screenshot and used Krita again as I'm finding the brush selection much more versatile than with Mischief. I've always wanted to do this painty, rough style of portrait, and where Mischief is great...

    Sorted! As I suspected, it was me not going about things in the right order. As Hawkeye pointed out, I needed to remove the old drivers first. After that the new ones installed fine and I now have a working nVidia card. Thank you all for the help!

    Yes, both connectors are in and it is powering up.

    Yes to all - it's powered and is displaying to my monitor through one of the DVI ports (just not at full res yet, as no drivers). Nope, just the usual 'I have been switched on' beep at the start. Yes and yes. I only have the one PCI slot. I have since put the old card back in to double check...

    I have been working with Krita recently - another of the alternate painting programs I was helpfully pointed to by the PSG community a while ago. I therefore thought it only fair to let you all see an early attempt. :) Quick lunchtime sketch playing with wet mix brushes, took about 30 - 40 mins.
