    Some times i get inspired by weird/random things here is one of them, this is James Camerons Sub that he used to go under water to get inspirations for his future avatar films... my edition of it weapons fireing

    de saturate the texture or hue to to a needed color. also play around with filters (overlay, screen etc.. ) and then change the hue on the texture

    yes, well i think that you have chosen a very hard background for your skill set. it has allot of noise and the light from the bricks - its a hard thing to do but with that said what i would do (with the items you have shown here) i would change the hue on the cat- the background is very warm...
