No. We're not keeping it. But let me know if you want some pumpkin pie.

Please HELP! Radial Gradient Effect on Irregular Shape

You can also just hand-paint it. This is just a simple shape, selected, than painted with a soft, low-opacity brush. This gives you the ability to make portions of the shape darker or lighter.

Does anyone know how this image was edited?

Your glow above the house looks much more realistic than the original. Nicely done. It's definitely an involved composite. There are so many different ways you could replicate the effects. Agent

easy colour removal from "painted" images

Just my .02¢. If the art shown is the style your friend wanted, then so be it. If it were me, I would probably hire someone new to get better art done with a stipulation that I wanted both outline drawings and filled, colored art. Agent

How to create this bitmap effect?

That's pretty awesome. I probably would have done a complicated half-tone tutorial and it still wouldn't get the results you show. Nice, Tom. Agent

Does anyone know how this image was edited?

To me, the glow of light above and outside the house looks hand-painted. This is otherwise a pretty basic combination of images. The layers palette shows everything, more or less. The lens flare is on a black-fill layer with the blending mode set to screen.

    Portrait Retouch Before/After

B/W looks much better than the original, IMHO.

    Illustrator help with pen tool

Thanks guys. VIEW>OUTLINE works, but then I have to toggle back to regular view to see my object. Unfortunately, VIEW>SHOW EDGES doesn't help. Seems like the easiest solution is to add a stroke, then just delete it later as needed. Thanks for the help. By the way, it is still incredibly...

    Illustrator help with pen tool

I think it appears like that because I did a screen shot before letting go of the mouse button. The fill shape hasn't yet conformed to the new anchor point. See below. Hope this is clearer.

How to make realistic glowing LED effect

I often fake the "outer glow" effect by duplicating my layer, placing the copy BELOW the original, perhaps making it a few shades lighter, and adding a Gaussian blur to it til it looks right. Agent

Lets talk about making a living from photoshop

Oh goodness. I had to stop crying before I could respond to this. As long as there are people willing to do work "for free," on demand, it will always be incredibly difficult (as Hoogle said) to make a living of digital art. It's like acting. The actors you see in Hollywood movies represent...

How to create glitch text like this?

There are fonts that are already distorted like that. Just google - "tv distortion font."

    Illustrator help with pen tool

In the illustration, I hadn't started sending the path back yet. But the blue outline of my shape had already disappeared. It appears the only way to keep the line visible is to add a stroke, even if I don't want one when I'm finished.

    Illustrator help with pen tool

Very difficult to show the problem in still frames. I am drawing one shape - one continuous line. But when I click on an anchor point to change direction, the outline for the shape I am creating disappears. I can only see my full line/shape if it has a stroke.

    Illustrator help with pen tool

Hoping someone knows the answer to this. I am drawing an object in Ai (#1), I continue to draw the shape (#2), then I click on the anchor point, so I can bring the line back to create a crescent shape (#3). when I click to create a new anchor point, my outline (blue shape lines and anchor...

    Illustrator Creating a hurricane shape

I'm guessing this is hand-drawn, and probably not created with some kind of "pucker" effect. Looks like someone just drew the shapes with the pen tool, then filled them with different gradients.
